Green-e Marketplace Fees

Download the Green-e Marketplace Membership Fee Schedule Green-e Marketplace charges participants fees to cover the costs of delivering the program’s benefits, license to the logo and its administrative costs. Grants from charitable foundations also allow CRS to keep the program affordable for all participants, to assist with program development, and to underwrite the costs of outreach to new prospective participants.

Participants in the Green-e Marketplace program pay an annual certification fee determined by organization type and gross annual revenue. The annual certification fee includes all certification services and license to use the Green-e logo.

In addition to licensing the use of the Green-e Marketplace logo, the program provides the following benefits to its participants:

• Announcement in quarterly CRS newsletter

Informational and educational services
• Current market research
• Green-e logo use counsel and guidance
• Policy and green marketing webinars
• Case studies on corporate climate strategies
• State and federal policy updates

Educational institutions (schools, universities) and Government Agencies
Green-e Marketplace charges a flat $250 certification fee.

Event or conference promotion
Green-e Marketplace has worked with a wide range of events from Major League Soccer to sustainable themed conferences. Ensuring your event is Green-e Certified means you’ve matched the electricity used to hold the event with a Green-e Energy Certified renewable energy purchase. Using the Green-e logo communicates to attendees that the event used 100% renewable energy.
