Green-e Climate Program Development

Green-e Climate was developed through an extensive stakeholder process in order to ensure that all voices are heard and that all substantive issues raised during a standard setting process are addressed.

The Green-e Climate Standard was developed through extensive consultations with environmental groups, greenhouse gas expert organizations and stakeholders. The stakeholder consultations were open to all interested parties and two rounds of consultations were completed for the Standard. The draft Green-e Climate Standard, stakeholder comments and the response to comments can be found below.

In addition, a specific stakeholder consultation focused on the endorsement of GHG Certification Programs. The materials for this stakeholder consultation along with comments received and responses to the comments can be found below.
